An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Linquist in the 9th minute of play forced Storfors BK's goalkeeper Birger Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Storfors BK's Birger Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hafström in the 12th minute of play. If Edgar Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Lindholm hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Konrad Månsson's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Birger Blomqvist - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the game, Väse BK's Edgar Linquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Bernt Löfdahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storfors BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Väse BK the free kick. In the 31st minute, Bernt Löfdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Edgar Linquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Hafström in the 42nd minute of the match. Hans Kuse hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Edgar Linquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Birger Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joel Hafström came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Väse BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hafström couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claes Wik made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jan Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Edgar Linquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birger Blomqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niklas Majman during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Niklas Majman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Storfors BK's zone, Konrad Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Blomqvist came out of the goal and Konrad Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Hafström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Birger Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joel Hafström came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Väse BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hafström couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Joel Hafström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birger Blomqvist was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Joel Hafström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Storfors BK's Birger Blomqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Storfors BK from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Storfors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hafström came free, but Birger Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Blomqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Linquist in the 85th minute. Claes Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Storfors BK's goalkeeper Birger Blomqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birger Blomqvist stood somewhat misplaced when Joel Hafström came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 98 minute. When the match was over Väse BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Storfors BK throughout the match.
