Simrishamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Alströmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rune Tidéksson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Simrishamn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Folke Molander in the 95th minute. Mikael Bergfeldt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the final whistle sounded Simrishamn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Målspottarnas UK.
