Johan Bergren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The supporters of Volcom Football Academy booed when Rotenur 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Zanetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Rotenur 2's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Stenquist came free, but Torgny Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rotenur 2's zone, Kevin Stenquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Sundén came out of the goal and Kevin Stenquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. He walked away shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Volcom Football Academy fully deserved thier win.
