Karlstad BK's Algot Granström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Petersson in the 20th minute of play. Vilhelm Petersson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Tun's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 26 played minutes Tun got a freekick which was hit by Claes Fransson. Tun's Anders Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Norberg in the 29th minute of play. Anders Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Lenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Algot Granström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Lenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Algot Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Lenberg in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Ingvar Lenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Lenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Carl Smefeldt made the kick off in the second half. Karlstad BK's Algot Granström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Lenberg in the 59th minute of play. When Ingvar Lenberg fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tun's protests and gave Ingvar Lenberg a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Lenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Algot Granström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Petersson in the 65th minute of play. Vilhelm Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Granström having to interfere. Tom Wennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Wennerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tun booed when Karlstad BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Wennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Lenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Granström having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Carl Smefeldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anders Björklund, 0-2. Knut Norberg succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Tun's Anders Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Tun from getting a goal against them.
