A collision led to Lödöse Nygård IK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Georg Sjöström hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Samuel Molander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garsås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Molander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Claes Drewitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garsås fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Delmar Gasteiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Garsås's Mats Josefsson. Mats Josefsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georg Sjöström hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lödöse Nygård IK's zone, Claes Drewitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erling Nyberg came out of the goal and Claes Drewitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 55thth minute of the game Gösta Kilman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garsås's Mats Josefsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Delmar Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Molander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garsås's Mats Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Kilman in the 65th minute of play. Rasmus Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gösta Kilman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garsås's Mats Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Kilman in the 72nd minute of play. Mats Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Gasteiz in the 83rd minute of play forced Garsås's goalkeeper Mats Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erling Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Claes Drewitz sent off a good shot on target. There was no doubt that Lödöse Nygård IK were the better team. Lödöse Nygård IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
