Esbjörn Bagge came out of the goal and Samuel Molander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claes Drewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Garsås's Samuel Molander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esbjörn Bagge. Esbjörn Bagge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bengt-Åke Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Garsås's Evert Mickelsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to Garsås getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Evert Mickelsson hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Jonas Myr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esbjörn Bagge skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claes Drewitz to make the kick off. Garsås's Mats Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Böcklund in the 55th minute of play. Robert Ahlbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bengt-Åke Böcklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Böcklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Claes Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Esbjörn Bagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Drewitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Bagge having to make a save. Esbjörn Bagge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Åke Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Josefsson having to interfere. When Tobias Göransson fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garsås's protests and gave Tobias Göransson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Garsås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Göransson to maneuver through the defense. The Fabregas FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Garsås from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
