When Rudolf Östensson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gustavsberg TNT's protests and gave Rudolf Östensson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Rudolf Östensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Gustavsberg TNT's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Henriksson came free, but Olof Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hällnäs's Max Siöberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. Olof Ahlqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Törnkvist's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Gustavsberg TNT's Olof Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Törnkvist in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tony Törnkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olof Ahlqvist was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Kent Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hällnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Ahlqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jens-Ove Kjellkvist came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Hällnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Kjellkvist couldn't finish the play. Olof Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Kjellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Kent Henriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hällnäs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tim Norberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kent Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rudolf Östensson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. After 43 played minutes Gustavsberg TNT got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Östensson. Gustavsberg TNT's Olof Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Henriksson in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Vilhelm Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsberg TNT's zone, Jens-Ove Kjellkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Ahlqvist came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Kjellkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Tony Törnkvist took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Olof Ahlqvist to make any attempt to save it. When Viktor Ålberg fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gustavsberg TNT's protests and gave Viktor Ålberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Gustavsberg TNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Höijer to maneuver through the defense. Olof Ahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Henriksson in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Törnkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olof Ahlqvist. That made the score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. If Kent Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The nice shot from Tony Törnkvist in the 93rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Olof Ahlqvist had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Hällnäs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
