An unexpectedly hard shot by John Collin in the 14th minute of play forced Asmundtorp's goalkeeper Evert Pihlblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Asmundtorp's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Skog came free, but Evert Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Nordlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Arhenius in the 20th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Skog was the one to do the kick off. Evert Pihlblad made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when John Collin sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes of play, Asmundtorp's Edib Hakić made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikael Nordlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Asmundtorp defense, John Collin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Pihlblad. The Asmundtorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Pihlblad should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jonas Skog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brålanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Skog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Pihlblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Asmundtorp players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
