Harry Andersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. 18 minutes into the game, Asmundtorp's Torbjörn Jonsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tarmo Alamaa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Edib Hakić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarmo Alamaa. Fatties's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edib Hakić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tomas Bremming hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Asmundtorp defense, Edward Blomqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Pihlblad. The Asmundtorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Pihlblad should have stopped the shot. Tarmo Alamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edib Hakić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fatties's Tarmo Alamaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Arhenius in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Blomqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Edward Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarmo Alamaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edib Hakić in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edib Hakić got free with Tarmo Alamaa in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joakim Hermansson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Jonsson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarmo Alamaa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Fatties's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Arhenius came free, but Tarmo Alamaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gabriel Arhenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Edward Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Pihlblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Asmundtorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. Edib Hakić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tarmo Alamaa made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Joakim Hermansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Pihlblad. Asmundtorp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Asmundtorp were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
