Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Samuelsson in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Arne Beneth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gottfrid Låsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gottfrid Lennartsson during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrik Käcker kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Roger Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Björneborg's Gottfrid Låsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Sandberg in the 37th minute of play. Michel Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gottfrid Låsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ◕‿◕'s Bengt-Arne Beneth got control of the ball when Roger Samuelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute Gottfrid Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Beneth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Johan Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Roger Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Beneth having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Björneborg's Roger Samuelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Beneth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute Sune Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Beneth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gottfrid Lundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Arne Beneth was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute of the match, Michel Sandberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gottfrid Låsberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gottfrid Låsberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Sandberg in the 88th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Karl-Johan Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björneborg's Gottfrid Låsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Lundin in the 92nd minute of play forced ◕‿◕'s goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Beneth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Sandberg got free with Gottfrid Låsberg in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Sune Fristedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Björneborg fully deserved thier win.
