Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filiph Törnkvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Bagge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tommarp IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunne BK the free kick. The supporters of Sunne BK booed when Tommarp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Bagge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Sunne BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Viberg. With an all-out effort, Tommarp IF's Carl Godholm threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iurie Penescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Tommarp IF's Hugo Majman got a free kick in the 17th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Tommarp IF's Björn Pihlgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Godholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Björn Pihlgren to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunne BK's goalkeeper Carl Godholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carl Godholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Penescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Godholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Björn Pihlgren went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Manole Maruță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl Godholm came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tommarp IF's Björn Pihlgren. But to his dismay, Björn Pihlgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Filiph Törnkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Tata Stie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manole Maruță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Godholm having to make a save. Björn Pihlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Godholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Pihlgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Godholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Pihlgren in the 89th minute of play. There was no doubt that Tommarp IF were the better team. Tommarp IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
