Evert Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Johannes Malmström made a huge save. Evert Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Söderberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Johannes Malmström 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Erling Bock threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lagga fk's Zebastian Uggstedt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Johannes Malmström made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Evert Söderberg sent off a good shot on target. Evert Söderberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Johannes Malmström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Lagga fk's Kevin Berglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johannes Malmström. Johannes Malmström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Öman in the 29th minute of play forced Lagga fk's goalkeeper Martin Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Bergman in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Lagga fk booed when Hakkas IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Evert Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a left leg Johannes Malmström saved Hakkas IK from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Kevin Berglund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johannes Malmström, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Lagga fk booed when Hakkas IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Klemensson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hakkas IK's zone, Kevin Berglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Malmström came out of the goal and Kevin Berglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evert Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Malmström having to interfere. Kevin Berglund scored 5-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Malmström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Hakkas IK defense, Evert Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johannes Malmström. The Hakkas IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johannes Malmström should have stopped the shot. Johannes Malmström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Albin Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Kuse having to interfere. Malcolm Blom was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 99 minutes into the match. 7-1 came through a penalty shot after 102 played minutes, when Hakkas IK:s Kent Levander calmly waited for Lagga fk:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Lagga fk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
