After some careless play in the GT Team defense, Jens Östensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Örnberg. The GT Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Örnberg should have stopped the shot. Fritz Forsman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hjalmar Örnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunne. 17 minutes into the game, Andreas Smedfeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GT Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunne the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of GT Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sunne:s goal. The referee gave Sunne a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven Glanselius, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GT Team's Hjalmar Örnberg. 0-2. Veysel Çağa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Skog in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute, Karl-Magnus Siggman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Forsman in the 39th minute of play forced GT Team's goalkeeper Hjalmar Örnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Örnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Östensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Sunne booed when GT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ian Lidberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Veysel Çağa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Siggman in the 54th minute of the match. Miklós Bodrogi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veysel Çağa having to interfere. When GT Team's Karl-Magnus Siggman in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 74 minutes of play, GT Team's Karl-Magnus Siggman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veysel Çağa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 played minutes Sunne got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Purzycki. Karl-Magnus Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
