Spectators: 7086 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute Kim Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krister Ekrot charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Villiam Granberg came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Grästorp IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villiam Granberg couldn't finish the play. Ove Tidéksson's late challenge caught a Grästorp IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Tidéksson helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes FC Purjulöken got a freekick which was hit by Ove Tidéksson. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Villiam Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grästorp IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Granberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Arne Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Gottfrid Ingemarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim Vestberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. John Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Örjan Ekström to strike the kick off in the second half. Villiam Granberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Lindholm having to make a save. In the 54th minute, Kjell-Arne Beck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Villiam Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Vestberg spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Purjulöken's goal. In the 68th minute, Villiam Granberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villiam Granberg in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of John Lindholm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute, Villiam Löv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, FC Purjulöken's goalkeeper John Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Vestberg. Kim Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Lindholm having to interfere. John Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Granberg in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Villiam Löv during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Purjulöken's Villiam Löv got a free kick in the 87th minute. Kim Vestberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Villiam Granberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Lindholm. That made the score 1-2 in the 92 minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Grästorp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Ekström came free, but Per-Arne Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grästorp IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
