The audience was convinced that Ivar Gregersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Lindholm was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Örjan Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. John Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Che in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Purjulöken's zone, Ivar Gregersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Lindholm came out of the goal and Ivar Gregersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes FC Purjulöken got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Löv. John Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Kuse in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Ivar Gregersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bänknötarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivar Gregersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Che stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Che got in the 52nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but John Lindholm handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 54 minutes of play, Bänknötarnas BK's Sven-Erik Paulin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Lindholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Bänknötarnas BK's Ivar Gregersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Tomas Che got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Herbert Axelsson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Bänknötarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Axelsson couldn't finish the play. After 70 minutes, Sonny Nordin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bänknötarnas BK and the FC Purjulöken players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sonny Nordin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Kristoffer Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Danielsson in the 87th minute of play forced FC Purjulöken's goalkeeper John Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Che succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. 93 minutes into the match, FC Purjulöken's goalkeeper John Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Che. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Che in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Lindholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
