Bänknötarnas BK's Tomas Che got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Lars Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Arne Danielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Tomas Che who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grästorp IFK's Per-Arne Danielsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivar Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Danielsson having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Tomas Che left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bänknötarnas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bänknötarnas BK's Tomas Che got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Tomas Che made a precise shot to the right of Per-Arne Danielsson. Grästorp IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Bänknötarnas BK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Herbert Axelsson hit a great ball. Ture Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villiam Granberg in the 30th minute of the match. Ture Fredriksson was a little too slow when Villiam Granberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-3. When Bänknötarnas BK's Tomas Che in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grästorp IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Lars Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Arne Danielsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Lars Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bänknötarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Arne Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Tomas Che notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Grästorp IFK's Per-Arne Danielsson. Per-Arne Danielsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Per-Arne Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Villiam Granberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ivar Almstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes, Grästorp IFK's Göran Wallin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ture Fredriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grästorp IFK reached it. The supporters of Grästorp IFK booed when Bänknötarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Göran Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Grästorp IFK's Kjell-Arne Beck got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes Grästorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Granberg. 67 minutes into the match, Tomas Che dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Per-Arne Danielsson, 1-6. After some careless play in the Grästorp IFK defense, Tomas Che kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Arne Danielsson. The Grästorp IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Arne Danielsson should have stopped the shot. When Bänknötarnas BK's Tomas Che in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grästorp IFK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Che in the 75th minute of play forced Grästorp IFK's goalkeeper Per-Arne Danielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Grästorp IFK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Göran Wallin hit a great ball. When Ivar Gregersson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Bänknötarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Gregersson couldn't finish the play. Grästorp IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Tomas Che scored to the left of an out of position Per-Arne Danielsson, making the score, 1-8. If Ivar Gregersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Per-Arne Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Kjell-Arne Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ture Fredriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-8. 91 minutes into the match, Bänknötarnas BK's Tomas Che sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Arne Danielsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Tomas Che dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Per-Arne Danielsson, 2-9. Sonny Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Bänknötarnas BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grästorp IFK.
