Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kennet Bergström kicked off to start the match. Joachim Gregersson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skärplinge's goalkeeper Roy Helberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Ove Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Helberg having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Vretstorp's Jan-Ove Nordin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roy Helberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Verner Utter hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, one of Skärplinge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Börje Kellberg placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Skärplinge's zone, Jan-Ove Nordin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Helberg came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Nordin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vretstorp's Jan-Ove Nordin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skärplinge's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Jan-Ove Nordin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skärplinge's Roy Helberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Skärplinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Gallberg to maneuver through the defense. Roy Helberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elof Drake was a little too slow when Tommy Persson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Roy Helberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Nordin in the 33rd minute of play. When Börje Kellberg fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vretstorp's protests and gave Börje Kellberg a yellow card for diving instead. Börje Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Skärplinge got a freekick which was hit by Christian Palmkvist. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 70th minute, Jan-Ove Nordin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roy Helberg. The goal made the score 1-2. Elof Drake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Gallberg in the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the game Björn Lundqvist made a throw-in which Kennet Bergström played forward. Jan-Ove Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Kennet Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Drake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vretstorp's Börje Kellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Ove Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Skärplinge had been in control for most of the match, Vretstorp still came away with the win.
