In the 6th minute, Joar Kihlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The stockholms snakes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Karl Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 16 minutes, Nils Back made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. stockholms snakes's Peter Lindahl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Börje Wahlnäs charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Joar Kihlbergs short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Sten Lang to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 34 minutes, Joar Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. stockholms snakes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joar Kihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Lindahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Back in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Lindahl saved stockholms snakes from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, stockholms snakes's Joar Kihlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Lang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stig Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Peter Lindahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes stockholms snakes got a freekick which was hit by Joar Kihlberg. After the first half Björkö were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Karl Karlsson made the kick off in the second half. If Karl Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute Joar Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Björkö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Back to maneuver through the defense. Sten Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joar Kihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nils Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The stockholms snakes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Björkö's performance. The match ended with a win for Björkö.
