Fritz Berggren hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. John Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Klementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tommy Klementsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Termander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zebastian Westerberg during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Färlöv IF got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Westerberg. Sivert Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. John Termander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Ahlbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jozef Polgár. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Ahlbom ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Tommy Klementsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Termander was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Klementsson in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Termander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Mikaelsson made a kick off. If Jan Smefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Klementsson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Termander saved Färlöv IF from getting behind. Jozef Polgár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Mikaelsson in the 69th minute of the match. Sivert Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. John Termander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Färlöv IF's goalkeeper John Termander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Klementsson. Jozef Polgár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Färlöv IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Klementsson came free, but John Termander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jozef Polgár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Ahlbom in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Tommy Klementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Termander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
