Tobias Strand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pelle Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Noraström:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crvena Zvezda:s goal. Tim Dalkvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, Noraström's Jonatan Snell got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Kinell in the 13th minute of play forced Crvena Zvezda's goalkeeper Gustaf Karlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukas Knutsson got free with Gustaf Karlstedt in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jimmie Kinell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noraström's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmie Kinell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Karlstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimmie Kinell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaf Karlstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmie Kinell during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Noraström getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jimmie Kinell hit a great ball. Pelle Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon Pihlwall went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pelle Nordström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon Pihlwall's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jon Pihlwall made a kick off. In the 51st minute Tobias Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Pihlwall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Pelle Nordström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Noraström getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anton Jernberg hit a great ball. Tobias Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 60 in the game by Jon Pihlwall from a close distance when the talented Pelle Nordström managed to make a qualified save. Noraström's players were relieved. Bengt-Rune Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pelle Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Lukas Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Noraström's goalkeeper Pelle Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Pihlwall. Jon Pihlwalls short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Pelle Nordström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustaf Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Knutsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Noraström's Jonatan Snell got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tim Dalkvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 99 minutes, Lukas Knutsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noraström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Knutsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Noraström fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crvena Zvezda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
