Andreas Wennerberg made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sonny Trulsson sent off a good shot on target. Kim Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Wahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osby RK's Boris Soned got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Arkhammers United's Sonny Trulsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Wennerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Osby RK's Torbjörn Danielsson was substituted for Boris Soned. The supporters of Osby RK booed when Arkhammers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Siggman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sakarias Wahlström came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Osby RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Wahlström couldn't finish the play. In the 31stth minute of the game Sakarias Wahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arkhammers United's Kim Pettersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustaf Vennerström kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Sakarias Wahlström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osby RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Sakarias Wahlström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kim Pettersson. Arkhammers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sakarias Wahlström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Kim Pettersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sakarias Wahlström's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Torgny Fransson's late challenge caught a Arkhammers United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgny Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Osby RK's Torgny Fransson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sakarias Wahlström made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Sakarias Wahlström put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kim Pettersson. Caio Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kim Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Torbjörn Danielsson fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osby RK's protests and gave Torbjörn Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Osby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Sonny Trulsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakarias Wahlström got free with Kim Pettersson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 69 minutes, Caio Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osby RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sakarias Wahlström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kim Pettersson having to make a save. When Sören Gallin fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arkhammers United's protests and gave Sören Gallin a yellow card for diving instead. Osby RK's Sakarias Wahlström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Stigsson in the 80th minute of play forced Arkhammers United's goalkeeper Kim Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sakarias Wahlström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kim Pettersson. That made the score 1-5 in the 84 minute of play. Sakarias Wahlström struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Kim Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osby RK. Sakarias Wahlström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Kim Pettersson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sakarias Wahlström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kim Pettersson having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Sonny Trulsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Wennerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Osby RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
