John Hammarström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jens-Ove Utter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Myresjö BF's Joakim Lidberg got a free kick in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Lidberg during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Myresjö BF got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Lidberg. If Rikard Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rikard Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katrineholm FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rikard Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Utter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Myresjö BF's Folke Bremming nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Wallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Katrineholm FF booed when Myresjö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes Katrineholm FF got a freekick which was hit by John Hammarström. If Klas Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Klas Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myresjö BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Klas Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Katrineholm FF's protests and gave Rikard Löfgren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Katrineholm FF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rikard Löfgren hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Katrineholm FF's goalkeeper Valdemar Wallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Bremming. The supporters of Katrineholm FF booed when Myresjö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Bremming didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Myresjö BF's Klas Karlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Wallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rikard Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Lidberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jens-Ove Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Löfgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Rikard Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Katrineholm FF's zone, Folke Bremming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Wallin came out of the goal and Folke Bremming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Katrineholm FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Stensson to maneuver through the defense. Folke Bremming might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdemar Wallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Folke Bremming ran back to his position shaking his head. Rikard Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Utter having to interfere. When Folke Bremming came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Myresjö BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Bremming couldn't finish the play. Arne Ahlström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Valdemar Wallin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valdemar Wallin made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Folke Bremming sent off a good shot on target. Arne Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Valdemar Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Myresjö BF. 98 minutes into the game, Folke Bremming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Valdemar Wallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Katrineholm FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Myresjö BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
