Farsta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Åke Tunberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Sven-Åke Tunberg came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hakenäset IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Åke Tunberg couldn't finish the play. Hakenäset IFK's Sivert Mellin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Hakenäset IFK from getting a goal against them. Sven-Åke Tunberg took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frans Sjöström. Frans Sjöström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 30th minute Jonas Lindkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Farsta's Robin Bratt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sivert Mellin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peter Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Åke Tunberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Sjöström having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Farsta's Robin Bratt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sivert Mellin. That made the score 1-2 after 42 minutes of play. When Sven-Åke Tunberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Hakenäset IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Åke Tunberg couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Bratt was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Isaac Ahlgren put in a rough tackle. In the 52nd minute, Isaac Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Sjöström having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hakenäset IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Peter Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Frans Sjöström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sivert Mellin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Bratt in the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Farsta's zone, Peter Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frans Sjöström came out of the goal and Peter Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lennart Holmberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sivert Mellin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Ekerot got free with Frans Sjöström in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hakenäset IFK booed when Farsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Evert Ekerot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frans Sjöström. Evert Ekerot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. A collision led to Hakenäset IFK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Jonatan Tinglöf hit a great ball. Chants of Hakenäset IFK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Farsta had held the ball for most of the match.
