Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 20) In the 3rd minute, Egil Lang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Oskar Brogren came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eskil Sillén could save by the left post. A collision led to Bispgården getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kaj Stenqvist hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingmar Blom got free with Eskil Sillén in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernt Dahlman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Hedström having to make a save. Eskil Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Brogren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eskil Sillén. Sven-Oskar Brogren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Eskil Sillén made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sven-Oskar Brogren sent off a good shot on target. Birger Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Palm in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Otto Palm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birger Hedström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 39th minute, Bispgården's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ingmar Blom fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sven-Oskar Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Bispgården:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Väja BK:s goal. In the 45th minute, Väja BK got a penalty, and Ingmar Blom placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egil Lang made a kick off. Egil Lang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egil Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bispgården's Patric Hallgren got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 67 minutes of play, Bispgården's Wilhelm Brovall made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birger Hedström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 played minutes Bispgården got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Dahlman. In the 72nd minute, Ingmar Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patric Hallgren's late challenge caught a Väja BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patric Hallgren helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Bispgården got a freekick which was hit by Patric Hallgren. Eskil Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eskil Sillén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Hernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bispgården's zone, Sven-Oskar Brogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Sillén came out of the goal and Sven-Oskar Brogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birger Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Lang in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Arne Söderlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Väja BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bispgården the free kick. Arne Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A hard shot by Ove Falk from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Birger Hedström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sven-Oskar Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Sillén having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Ingmar Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väja BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingmar Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
