In the 13th minute, Stora Vika's Magne Ahlkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aaron Kihlman. Aaron Kihlman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Jens-Ola Överman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Berg in the 16th minute of the match. Aaron Kihlman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magne Ahlkvist in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Pungkrossarna GIF's Aaron Kihlman got control of the ball when Magne Ahlkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Magne Ahlkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aaron Kihlman, 4-0. Egon Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pungkrossarna GIF booed when Stora Vika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magne Ahlkvist got free with Aaron Kihlman in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Aaron Kihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Ahlkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Stora Vika's Kristian Tidén got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute Urban Kaempfe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pungkrossarna GIF's Aaron Kihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Kaempfe in the 65th minute of play. In the 85th minute Magne Ahlkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Konrad Billström fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pungkrossarna GIF's protests and gave Konrad Billström a yellow card for diving instead. Pungkrossarna GIF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
