Silver Zebras:s Dag Löfskog showed great skill when he stopped Marcus Gernberg:s penalty. Silver Zebras's Dag Löfskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Petersson in the 8th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Silver Zebras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Lövkvist. Dag Löfskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes Silver Zebras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Gernberg who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Telin in the 16th minute of play forced Silver Zebras's goalkeeper Dag Löfskog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Gustav Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silver Zebras's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Örjan Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Gustav Ahlbom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Örjan Eklund. Gustav Ahlbom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fábio Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Eklund having to interfere. Fábio Teixeiras short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Örjan Eklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Gustav Ahlbom came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Silver Zebras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Ahlbom couldn't finish the play. Fábio Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Örjan Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Zebras. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Olov Telin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dag Löfskog came out and tried to block the shot, but Olov Telin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. Dals Rostock RK's Örjan Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Ahlbom in the 58th minute of play. Harry Ekelund charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Ekelund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Dals Rostock RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. Silver Zebras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Gulliksson in the 66th minute. After taking down the ball on Silver Zebras's corner Stefan Gulliksson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Örjan Eklund quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Teixeira in the 67th minute of play forced Dals Rostock RK's goalkeeper Örjan Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Silver Zebras manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dals Rostock RK to win.
