Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriel Alberg kicked off to start the match. Sivert Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Melander in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Åke Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Melander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Billingsfors FK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Einar Gråberg hit a great ball. 11 minutes in the game, Åke Melander fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sivert Holm having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Maximilian Holm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig Chren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Alberg in the 19th minute of the match. If Gabriel Alberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Göteborg's Åke Melander got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, FC Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Holm came free, but Stig Chren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
