Ragnar Lång was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olov Brask showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Ragnar Lång was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Frank Aspengren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Aspengren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 39th minute, Olov Brask ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ragnar Lång was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Hybbert was the one to do the kick off. Olov Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Lång having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Olov Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Järpås IFK's Olov Brask in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute Olov Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
