The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Junsele's Christoffer Ersman got a free kick in the 26th minute. William Vallander did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Joachim Bergkvist 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Banditos's zone, William Vallander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Bergkvist came out of the goal and William Vallander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Norström in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joachim Bergkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonas Norström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helge Kullgren was the one to do the kick off. Joachim Bergkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vallander in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Norström in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joachim Bergkvist saved FC Banditos from getting behind. Joachim Bergkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Norström, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Vallander in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Banditos's goalkeeper Joachim Bergkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
