In the 3rd minute Hans Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Röda Tornet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Danielsson came free, but Ludvig Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bo Larsfält's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Kollberg was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 21stth minute of the game Mark Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Röda Tornet FC's Ludvig Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Röda Tornet FC's Ludvig Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Danielsson in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elliott Söderström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Kollberg was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, Real Madrid CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Beckman to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Tim Dusett in the 37th minute really tested Eddie Kollberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid CF's Allan Ekegren got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Madrid CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tim Dusett was slow to take the kick. During this time Röda Tornet FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Röda Tornet FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Olov Sjögren hit a great ball. Hans Aronsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Svensson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Filip Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Mark Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Röda Tornet FC's Ludvig Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Hedkvist in the 58th minute of play forced Real Madrid CF's goalkeeper Eddie Kollberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Hedkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Kollberg having to make a save. When Filip Hedkvist came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Röda Tornet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Hedkvist couldn't finish the play. Eddie Kollberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Söderström in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Edgar Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Hedkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliott Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eddie Kollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Elliott Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Kollberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvig Svensson was a little too slow when Mark Danielsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-2. Eddie Kollberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Hedkvist's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Elliott Söderström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eddie Kollberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Elliott Söderström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Kollberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Madrid CF! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Röda Tornet FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Madrid CF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
