The throw-in from Jesper Bjurström in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brighton FC's Apolo Txartiko. Alf Dalman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Eskil Almstedt made a huge save. After a rather tough play, qaranka's Oriol Treviño got a free kick in the 6th minute. Per Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Johan Bäck took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eskil Almstedt. Eskil Almstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Brighton FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Alf Dalman scored to the left of an out of position Eskil Almstedt, making the score, 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Jesper Bjurström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. qaranka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brighton FC the free kick. Eskil Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Dalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Brighton FC's goalkeeper Eskil Almstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Dalman. In the 20th minute, Ulrik Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pontus Björkdahl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per Dahlberg. qaranka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kurt Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Almstedt having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Säfström during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjell-Arne Säfström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match, Johan Bäck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eskil Almstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eskil Almstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Dalman went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Philip Wester kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Johan Bäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eskil Almstedt was a little too slow when Johan Bäck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Dalman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eskil Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Bäck in the 55th minute of play. After 62 played minutes qaranka got a freekick which was hit by Oriol Treviño. Brighton FC's Eskil Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Bäck in the 72nd minute of play. If Oriol Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Brighton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Dalman came free, but Eskil Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brighton FC's Eskil Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Dalman in the 92nd minute of play. Jesper Bjurström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. qaranka fully deserved thier win.
