Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Per-Erik Grubb started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Visseltofta's zone, Patric Kruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Anundsson came out of the goal and Patric Kruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Visseltofta getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Peter Salqvist hit a great ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Per-Erik Grubb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljusnedal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Erik Grubb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Visseltofta's Rune Biörkman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sune Landin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Patric Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Erik Grubb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Stig-Arne Anundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sune Landin came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Visseltofta's Peter Salqvist. But to his dismay, Peter Salqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Visseltofta were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Patric Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Anundsson having to interfere. Patric Kruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Salqvist got free with Sune Landin in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Patric Kruse fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljusnedal's protests and gave Patric Kruse a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Ljusnedal got a freekick which was hit by Patric Kruse. If Rune Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ljusnedal's Sune Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Biörkman in the 70th minute of play. Patric Kruse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Arne Anundsson having to make a save. 74 minutes into the game, Edmund Fogel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Visseltofta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljusnedal the free kick. Edmund Fogel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Visseltofta booed when Ljusnedal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Erik Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Ljusnedal's Patric Kruse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Anundsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Peter Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Visseltofta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
