In the 5th minute Antonio Di Maio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Athético Brazil defense, Antonio Di Maio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Öberg. The Athético Brazil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Öberg should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Athético Brazil's zone, Sven-Åke Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Öberg came out of the goal and Sven-Åke Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Kjell Hamnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Åke Brun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Di Maio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Öberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Di Maio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st play minute Sven-Åke Brun came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrik Öberg. 2-0. Patrik Öberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Di Maio's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Antonio Di Maio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Öberg having to make a save. Athético Brazil's Patrik Öberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Athético Brazil from getting a goal against them. Marko Hammarbäck's late challenge caught a IRAQ.FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marko Hammarbäck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Marko Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, IRAQ.FF's Antonio Di Maio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kalle Rosendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. IRAQ.FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Rosendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sven-Åke Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. IRAQ.FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Åke Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Antonio Di Maio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrik Öberg. Antonio Di Maio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Hannes Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jörn Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athético Brazil's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Di Maio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sven-Åke Brun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Öberg was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. IRAQ.FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Hannes Sjö scored to the left of an out of position Roy Lindholm, making the score, 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Di Maio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Öberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roy Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Sjö in the 82nd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Brun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Patrik Öberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 played minutes Athético Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Hultstrand. After a rather tough play, IRAQ.FF's Hannes Benet got a free kick in the 94th minute. IRAQ.FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
