Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karl-Oskar Söderqwist kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Ek came free, but Roy Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Koch's late challenge caught a Uddeholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Koch helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edvin Koch hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Dennis Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Vase having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Karl-Oskar Söderqwist took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sven-Åke Vase to make any attempt to save it. Anders Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Karl-Oskar Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Oskar Söderqwist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Oskar Söderqwist got free with Sven-Åke Vase in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Hammarby IF's Edvin Koch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-Åke Vase. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Ek was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edvin Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Söderqwist in the 54th minute of play forced Uddeholm's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Uddeholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Bergendahl to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Oskar Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sven-Åke Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Bergman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hammarby IF! In the 69th minute, the referee gave Uddeholm a penalty. Börje Sundström looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Roy Jonasson. Anders Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Hammarby IF's Anders Bergkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Åke Vase made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 94 minutes into the match, Uddeholm's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Askestät came free, but Sven-Åke Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Bergkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Uddeholm:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hammarby IF:s goal. 99 minutes into the match, Karl-Oskar Söderqwist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Åke Vase. Uddeholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Oskar Söderqwist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Hammarby IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
