Anthon Olofsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. Önnestad's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Karlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Jönsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Frank Tolsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Norrfors FK's Kevin Jönsson. Kevin Jönsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kevin Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Frank Tolsson sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Tolsson got free with Kevin Jönsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Önnestad booed when Norrfors FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Robin Karlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kevin Jönsson skillfully saved the ball. Bo Brodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jon Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Bo Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, Norrfors FK's Arvin Pihlgren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Hedlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Önnestad's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Pihlgren came free, but Jon Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leif Giliusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Hedlund having to interfere. If Bo Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Önnestad's zone, Leif Giliusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Hedlund came out of the goal and Leif Giliusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Leif Giliusson made a precise shot to the right of Jon Hedlund. Önnestad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Brodin was the one to do the kick off. When Arvin Pihlgren came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Norrfors FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvin Pihlgren couldn't finish the play. Jon Hedlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Giliusson in the 53rd minute. Önnestad's Jon Hedlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Önnestad from getting a goal against them. If Leif Giliusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Önnestad's Robin Beckman got a free kick in the 61st minute. Leif Giliusson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Leif Giliusson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Giliusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jon Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Önnestad's Robin Beckman got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jon Hedlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Brodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sonny Moberg charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Moberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Önnestad getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Robin Beckman hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Leif Giliusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrik Zachrisson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevin Jönsson. Norrfors FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Önnestad's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Billvall came free, but Jon Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Hedlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Brodin in the 83rd minute. Jon Hedlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvin Pihlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Leif Giliusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvin Pihlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jon Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvin Pihlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Hedlund having to interfere. The Önnestad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Norrfors FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
