But to his dismay, Valdemar Hagström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kasper Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Nämdö IF's André Hedkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Nämdö IF from getting a goal against them. Valdemar Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Marcus Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Hagström in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urban Wallengren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdemar Hagström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Urban Wallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Olsson in the 44th minute of play forced Nämdö IF's goalkeeper André Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Valdemar Hagström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urban Wallengren. IF Eleganterna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Hagström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Pál Lendvay managed to get in a good position for a shot. IF Eleganterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Pál Lendvay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Hedkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, IF Eleganterna's Thomas Olsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Hedkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 59th minute, Bengt-Arne Forssberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Olsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Nämdö IF's goalkeeper André Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urban Wallengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdemar Hagström in the 67th minute. Bengt-Arne Forssberg succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Urban Wallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Hagström, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Nämdö IF's Valdemar Hagström in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valdemar Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Bengt-Arne Forssberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nämdö IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nämdö IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
