Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Nordström came free, but Edwin Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Hökqvist in the 5th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Edwin Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes, Stig Hökqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Lothian and the Marieholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, West Lothian's Stig Hökqvist got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Einar Nordström made a precise shot to the right of Edwin Arvidsson. Marieholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Karp in the 17th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Edwin Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viggo Botvidsson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viggo Botvidsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marieholm getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Viggo Botvidsson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Karp in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin Arvidsson saved Marieholm from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Sefastsson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matthias Nordmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edwin Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Einar Nordström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin Arvidsson. Marieholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Einar Nordström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Boris Vennerlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edwin Arvidsson having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Nils-Emil Grubb made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Marieholm defense, Einar Nordström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin Arvidsson. The Marieholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin Arvidsson should have stopped the shot. Matthias Nordmark charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Nordmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Einar Nordström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Edwin Arvidsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edwin Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, William Grep mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marieholm and the West Lothian players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Marieholm got a freekick which was hit by William Grep. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Edwin Arvidsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 73 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goalkeeper Edwin Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Hökqvist. West Lothian's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vilhelm Dahlberg in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Matthias Nordmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilhelm Dahlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, West Lothian's Matthias Nordmark sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Arvidsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matthias Nordmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benno Haud got free with Edwin Arvidsson in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boris Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Edwin Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Einar Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
