Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agne Käller kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Frinnaryd BK's Agne Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulrik Liljeström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Frinnaryd BK's zone, Allan Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Smedfeldt came out of the goal and Allan Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Mossberg in the 12th minute of play forced Frinnaryd BK's goalkeeper Ingemar Smedfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Färentuna IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Hjortberg came free, but Ulrik Liljeström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Hedvall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ingemar Smedfeldt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Allan Mossberg had several of the Frinnaryd BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ingemar Smedfeldt as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 25th minute Allan Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Liljeström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Allan Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulrik Liljeström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Mossberg struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ingemar Smedfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Färentuna IFK. Åke Dalgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingemar Smedfeldt having to make a save. After 44 played minutes Färentuna IFK got a freekick which was hit by Åke Dalgren. Färentuna IFK's Ulrik Liljeström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Hjortberg in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Mossberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Allan Mossberg struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ingemar Smedfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Färentuna IFK. In the 53rd minute, Allan Mossberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Gunnar Hedvall notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Frinnaryd BK's Ingemar Smedfeldt. Ingemar Smedfeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ingemar Smedfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hedvall in the 62nd minute of play. Gunnar Hedvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ingemar Smedfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Frinnaryd BK booed when Färentuna IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Dalgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sven-Oskar Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allan Mossberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Allan Mossberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingemar Smedfeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Christer Åkesson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Färentuna IFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
