Patric Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Tinglöv having to interfere. Mavve United's Edvin Josefsson got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mavve United's Bror Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grycksbo IF's Bror Tinglöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Näver in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Sandström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grycksbo IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavve United the free kick. 16 minutes into the match, Mavve United's Eddie Hedlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bror Tinglöv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grycksbo IF's Jens-Åke Sandström got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Jens-Åke Sandström off the ground. 18 minutes into the match, Bror Siggman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grycksbo IF's Bror Tinglöv. Bror Tinglöv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patric Näver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Patric Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Tinglöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin Josefsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Arne Billock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bror Tinglöv was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute Bror Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Tinglöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Lukas Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bror Tinglöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Spets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Mavve United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patric Näver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patric Näver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bror Tinglöv having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bror Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavve United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Siggman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bror Tinglöv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bror Tinglöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Näver in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Mavve United's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Ström came free, but Frans Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Bank kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Mavve United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Malte Bank hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Grycksbo IF's Lukas Lundqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frans Bjurström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grycksbo IF reached it. In the 61st minute, Eddie Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mavve United's Bror Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mavve United made a substitution. Sixten Holm replaced Edvin Josefsson. The supporters of Grycksbo IF booed when Mavve United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Billock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Billock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Widberg during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Grycksbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Widberg. Arne Billock struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bror Tinglöv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mavve United. Mavve United's Patric Näver got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Bror Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavve United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Siggman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, David Svanström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grycksbo IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavve United the free kick. In the 91st minute, one of Grycksbo IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grycksbo IF. Jonatan Spets walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bror Siggman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bror Tinglöv came out and tried to block the shot, but Bror Siggman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 98th minute.
