In the 30th minute of the match, Håkan Samuelsson sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Max Mårtensson showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Max Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustin Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Alexander Hult succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 57th playminute. Västra Frölunda IF's Faustin Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Melker Martinsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Boberg. The Västra Frölunda IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Max Mårtensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wit Jurgiel went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Billdal defense, Faustin Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Mårtensson. The Billdal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Mårtensson should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Allan Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Västra Frölunda IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
