Thomas Fribäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Christoffersson having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Gilbert Vik notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Lillen's Manfred Christoffersson. Manfred Christoffersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Thomas Fribäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
