Stefan Lenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Stig-Arne Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Mazzola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Fransson having to interfere. Stig-Arne Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Lenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Stefan Lenberg sped through Wingfield FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig-Arne Fransson. Thomas Fribäck in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaudencio Su, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute, Walter Borre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Knut Törnqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaudencio Su skillfully saved the ball. Gaudencio Su came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Wingfield FC's Arvin Klintæus. But to his dismay, Arvin Klintæus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Thomas Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Lenberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Fribäck in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Wingfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Fribäck. In the 55th minute, Thomas Fribäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Klas Palm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
