Valentin Bergvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Eriksson in the 16th minute of play. Rest in Peace's Valentin Bergvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Eriksson in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes FC Godis got a freekick which was hit by Şanver Tanbek. Isaac Larsson's late challenge caught a FC Godis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Larsson helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, FC Godis's Måns Eriksson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Bergvall was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half FC Godis were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christer Lindström to make the kick off. Valentin Bergvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Karl-Erik Elg fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Godis's protests and gave Karl-Erik Elg a yellow card for diving instead. Karl-Erik Elg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Valentin Bergvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Bröms in the 67th minute. Fabian Bröms who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Valentin Bergvall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Valentin Bergvall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valentin Bergvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Douglas Alströmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rest in Peace's Valentin Bergvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Rest in Peace from getting a goal against them. If Måns Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rest in Peace fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Godis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
