After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bertil Västlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ringarum's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Västlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Alin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Mogren made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stellan Högström in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Winström saved Ringarum from getting behind. If Adrian Carlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Stellan Högström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gert Winström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, IFK Luleå's Stellan Högström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gert Winström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Bernt Mogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute.
