Jan Sjödin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Vallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jörn Vallgren came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Alstermo FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Vallgren couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Alstermo FF's zone, Georg Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximilian Ekelund came out of the goal and Georg Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Alstermo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Jönsson to maneuver through the defense.

Jörn Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Jörn Vallgren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan Sjödin, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Leif Vennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leif Vennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Sjödin having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Patrick Ahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alstermo FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Ahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alstermo FF's Leif Vennerström got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Ahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Sjödin having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Leif Vennerström made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Hargshamn IFK's Jan Sjödin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Alstermo FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hargshamn IFK throughout the match.
