The attack was good, but when Olof Alebeck in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Fernström in the 7th minute of the match. Eskil Wiman made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gunnarskog's Fabian Salqvist. In the 13th minute Olof Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Magnus Granström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Sundberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Löv in the 21st minute. Olof Fernström hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Haritz Serrano got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edvard Vallgren. Olof Alebeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Gunnarskog defense, Olof Fernström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist. The Gunnarskog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Löv, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Alf Holmgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunnarskog's Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villiam Forss took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist. Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
