After a defensive mix-up in Sk's zone, Rickard Kilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Skarkman came out of the goal and Rickard Kilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Pål Benett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Åke Skarkman was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Danielsson in the 29th minute of play forced Floda Monkeys's goalkeeper Gustaf Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Jim Kruuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sk and the Floda Monkeys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustaf Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Danielsson in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rickard Kilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floda Monkeys's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Kilberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Åke Skarkman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd match minute, Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Dalberg to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Benett came free, but Jan-Åke Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Charles Gallberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floda Monkeys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Jan-Åke Skarkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Benett, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Floda Monkeys's Rickard Kilberg got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pål Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Benett came free, but Jan-Åke Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Pål Benett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Skarkman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Rickard Kilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Skarkman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Kilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Pål Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Skarkman having to interfere. Jan-Åke Skarkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Benett's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Rickard Kilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floda Monkeys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Kilberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
