Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 144) Wellington Ferraz made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Borgafjäll's Ted Hellström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Bock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute Roger Bocklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Ferraz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Gottfrid Johansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Borgafjäll's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl-Magnus Persson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Simon Bock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Igelström in the 19th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Igelström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Simon Bock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wellington Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Fred Nordgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Varnhem's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bocklund came free, but Simon Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wellington Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Johansson was a little too slow when Karl-Magnus Persson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Wellington Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gottfrid Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 37 in the game by Wellington Ferraz from a close distance when the talented Gottfrid Johansson managed to make a qualified save. Borgafjäll's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Ferraz in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gottfrid Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hannes Forssell's late challenge caught a Varnhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannes Forssell helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Igelström made a kick off. Borgafjäll's Gottfrid Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Ferraz in the 53rd minute of play. Fred Nordgren charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Nordgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fred Nordgren hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Ferraz in the 59th minute of play forced Borgafjäll's goalkeeper Gottfrid Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Varnhem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borgafjäll:s goal. Sebastian Sundberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Simon Bock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Magnus Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gottfrid Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Borgafjäll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Forssell to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Wenerdahl during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Lars Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Wenerdahl in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Borgafjäll's Ted Fransson. Simon Bock made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jan-Erik Igelström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Ferraz in the 88th minute of play forced Borgafjäll's goalkeeper Gottfrid Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Borgafjäll's zone, Karl-Magnus Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gottfrid Johansson came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
