If Anton Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Anton Sundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thomas Albom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Sundström in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Albom saved Käringön IF from getting behind. Anton Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Albom having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Käringön IF's zone, Verner Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Albom came out of the goal and Verner Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Verner Arvidsson made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Albom. Käringön IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 57thth minute of the game Jonas Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammarö IK's Bertil Rosendahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Verner Arvidsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Thomas Albom made a huge save. If Jonas Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verner Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Thomas Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Käringön IF's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Sundström came free, but Thomas Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Albom came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Hammarö IK's Verner Arvidsson. But to his dismay, Verner Arvidsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 73rd match minute, Hammarö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Kullgren to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hammarö IK's Mattias Fernkvist got a free kick in the 74th minute. Anton Sundström struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Thomas Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarö IK. After 77 minutes, Knut Ekelund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Käringön IF and the Hammarö IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Käringön IF's Thomas Albom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Käringön IF from getting a goal against them. During the 80th minute of the match Nils-Åke Backman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nils-Åke Backman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hammarö IK's Verner Arvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Sundström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Albom came out and tried to block the shot, but Anton Sundström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Arvidsson got free with Thomas Albom in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute of the match Hammarö IK got a corner. Käringön IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robin Rosendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Verner Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarö IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Arvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Jonas Axelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
