The supporters of Vilhelmina booed when Hallstavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Rydberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Lennart Billvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hallstavik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilhelmina the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Fernkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Josef Ahlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Gummeson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Viktor Lidman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tord Blom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Magne Rosin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Ahlberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Hallstavik's goalkeeper Alex Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Arenius kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Vilhelmina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
